Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Westerville, OH
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. On top of that, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They slip right into family life in most homes. Families in the Westerville, Ohio area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Westerville. Every family deserves a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go far beyond the minimum standards. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here is well cared for and has lots of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Westerville, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Westerville the farm is 72 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Westerville, to , including Genoa OH, Blendon OH, Huber Ridge OH, and Minerva Park OH, or anywhere else in Delaware County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
