Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Gahanna, OH
Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit in well with most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Gahanna, Ohio area can be difficult. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Gahanna with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards are much higher than what's required. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is another big part of the process, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. That playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Gahanna, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Gahanna the farm is 73 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Gahanna, to , including Mifflin OH, and Whitehall OH, or anywhere else in Franklin County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
