Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Orange, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They settle in easily with most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Orange, Ohio area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Orange. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here is well cared for and has lots of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. Making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes are all things we love.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Orange, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Orange the farm is 75 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Orange, to , including Delaware OH, Sharon OH, Worthington OH, Powell OH, and Berlin OH, or anywhere else in Delaware County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
