Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Delaware, OH
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Even though they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Delaware, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's what makes us so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Delaware. We want every family to be able to bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Delaware
See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Delaware, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Delaware the farm is 77 miles away, 1 to 3 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Delaware, to , including Marion OH, Lincoln OH, Radnor OH, Ashley OH, Peru OH, and Ostrander OH, or anywhere else in Delaware County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
