Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Washington, OH

The Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Even at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can come across as feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They make a great fit for most families. Finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Washington, Ohio area can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Washington. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Washington
Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards are set well above the minimum. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Washington, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Washington the farm is 146 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Washington, to , including Miami OH, Clear Creek OH, and Centerville OH, or anywhere else in Montgomery County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
