Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Kettering, OH
Why We're Crazy About Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what truly wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. To top it off, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They settle in easily with most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Kettering, Ohio area can be difficult. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Kettering. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Kettering, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Kettering the farm is 144 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Kettering, to , including Beavercreek OH, Oakwood OH, and Moraine OH, or anywhere else in Greene County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
