Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Vicksburg, MS
Discover Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. As a bonus, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. Families in the Vicksburg, Mississippi area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Vicksburg. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Vicksburg
Why Our Puppies Are Second to None
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, laying the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
What Delivery to Vicksburg, Mississippi Looks Like
Ground delivery to your door
This runs a flat $350 to any address in the state, and it is what most Vicksburg families use. Professional transport drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with updates along the way. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Most families have their puppy within about three days of departure, and with 761 miles to cover, Vicksburg usually lands at the two to three day end of that. Out your way the van also delivers to , including Greenville MS, Natchez MS, Tallulah LA, Vidalia LA, Lake Providence LA, Beechwood MS, Delhi LA, Morgantown MS, Minorca LA, Fayette MS, Port Gibson MS, Edwards MS, Bude MS, Alcorn State University MS, St. Joseph LA, Newellton LA, Utica MS, Cloverdale MS, Clayton LA, Waterproof LA, Richmond LA, and Roxie MS, and nothing changes for an address elsewhere in Warren County. The air conditioning matters more on this route than on most, since a four to seven pound dog has very little margin in July. Each puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating and a blanket that smells like its littermates.
Flight nanny to an airport near Vicksburg
A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin, never cargo, and passes it to you at baggage claim. Most of these are finished in a single day. Vicksburg families would meet the flight at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, and Monroe Regional Airport. Cost is quoted per flight and runs above ground transport. We arrange a veterinary health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which is not a limit a Yorkie will ever come near.
Picking the puppy up in Sugarcreek
You're welcome at the farm by appointment. From Vicksburg that's 14 to 16 hours each way, a two day trip for most people, though it does let you see where the puppy was raised, meet the parent dogs and go through the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Which option fits Vicksburg
Ground transport is the sensible default almost everywhere in Mississippi, and that includes Vicksburg. If you would rather have the puppy home the same day, a flight nanny is worth pricing out. A few families do make the trip up to the farm, and they're always welcome.
