Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Pearl, MS
Discover Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Pearl, Mississippi area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Pearl with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Pearl
Why Our Puppies Are Second to None
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards are much higher than what's required. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
What Delivery to Pearl, Mississippi Looks Like
Ground delivery to your door
This runs a flat $350 to any address in the state, and it is what most Pearl families use. Professional transport drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with updates along the way. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Most families have their puppy within about three days of departure, and with 738 miles to cover, Pearl usually lands at the two to three day end of that. Out your way the van also delivers to , including Jackson MS, Brandon MS, Brookhaven MS, Flowood MS, Richland MS, Florence MS, Wesson MS, Monticello MS, and Cleary MS, and nothing changes for an address elsewhere in Rankin County. The air conditioning matters more on this route than on most, since a four to seven pound dog has very little margin in July. Each puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating and a blanket that smells like its littermates.
Flight nanny to an airport near Pearl
A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin, never cargo, and passes it to you at baggage claim. Most of these are finished in a single day. Pearl families would meet the flight at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, and Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport. Cost is quoted per flight and runs above ground transport. We arrange a veterinary health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which is not a limit a Yorkie will ever come near.
Picking the puppy up in Sugarcreek
You're welcome at the farm by appointment. From Pearl that's 14 to 16 hours each way, a two day trip for most people, though it does let you see where the puppy was raised, meet the parent dogs and go through the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Which option fits Pearl
Ground transport is the sensible default almost everywhere in Mississippi, and that includes Pearl. If you would rather have the puppy home the same day, a flight nanny is worth pricing out. A few families do make the trip up to the farm, and they're always welcome.
