Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Mentor, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Mentor, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Mentor with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We go far beyond the minimum standards. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another big part of the process, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. You'll be able to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Mentor, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Mentor the farm is 83 miles away, 1 to 3 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
