Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cleveland Heights, OH
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, what wins most people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and always staying close is the icing on the cake. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Cleveland Heights, Ohio area can be tough. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Cleveland Heights. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. It's a chance to see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Cleveland Heights, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Cleveland Heights the farm is 71 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Cleveland Heights, to , including Shaker Heights OH, South Euclid OH, East Cleveland OH, and Bratenahl OH, or anywhere else in Cuyahoga County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
