Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cleveland, OH
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Cleveland, Ohio can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Cleveland. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Cleveland
See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards go much further than the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take every Yorkie placement seriously, and to us it's much more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Cleveland the farm is 70 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Cleveland, to , including Lakewood OH, and Newburgh Heights OH, or anywhere else in Cuyahoga County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
