Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Horn Lake, MS
See Why We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Even though they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Plus, they love cuddling and staying close all the time, which makes them even more special. Yorkies fit right in with most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Horn Lake, Mississippi area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Horn Lake. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Horn Lake
Why Our Puppies Are Second to None
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards go far beyond the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another important step, laying the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
What Delivery to Horn Lake, Mississippi Looks Like
Ground delivery to your door
This runs a flat $350 to any address in the state, and it is what most Horn Lake families use. Professional transport drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with updates along the way. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Most families have their puppy within about three days of departure, and with 597 miles to cover, Horn Lake usually lands at the two to three day end of that. Out your way the van also delivers to , including Southaven MS, Hernando MS, Clarksdale MS, Helena-West Helena AR, Senatobia MS, Lynchburg MS, Tunica Resorts MS, Coldwater MS, Walls MS, Marks MS, Jonestown MS, Friars Point MS, North Tunica MS, Crenshaw MS, and Tunica MS, and nothing changes for an address elsewhere in DeSoto County. The air conditioning matters more on this route than on most, since a four to seven pound dog has very little margin in July. Each puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating and a blanket that smells like its littermates.
Flight nanny to an airport near Horn Lake
A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin, never cargo, and passes it to you at baggage claim. Most of these are finished in a single day. Horn Lake families would meet the flight at Memphis International Airport, and Jonesboro Municipal Airport. Cost is quoted per flight and runs above ground transport. We arrange a veterinary health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which is not a limit a Yorkie will ever come near.
Picking the puppy up in Sugarcreek
You're welcome at the farm by appointment. From Horn Lake that's 11 to 13 hours each way, a two day trip for most people, though it does let you see where the puppy was raised, meet the parent dogs and go through the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Which option fits Horn Lake
Ground transport is the sensible default almost everywhere in Mississippi, and that includes Horn Lake. If you would rather have the puppy home the same day, a flight nanny is worth pricing out. A few families do make the trip up to the farm, and they're always welcome.
