Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Danville, IL
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies because their long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. Their fondness for cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Danville, Illinois area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's what makes us so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Danville. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go much further than the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies play and explore outside in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Danville, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Danville that's 5 to 7 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Vermilion County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Danville comes up 317 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Terre Haute IN, Newell IL, Hoopeston IL, Blount IL, Georgetown IL, Westville IL, Tilton IL, Covington IN, Veedersburg IN, Catlin IL, Williamsport IN, Ross IL, Oakwood IL, Middlefork IL, Chrisman IL, Rossville IL, Cayuga IN, South Ross IL, Vance IL, Butler IL, Ridge Farm IL, Cissna Park IL, Boswell IN, McKendree IL, West Lebanon IN, Potomac IL, Young America IL, Fairmount IL, Carroll IL, Dana IN, Sidell IL, Bismarck IL, and Rankin IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Danville families are University of Illinois Willard Airport, and Purdue University Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
