Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Champaign, IL
What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Responsible breeders are few and far between across the country, which makes finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Champaign, Illinois area a challenge. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Champaign. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Champaign, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Champaign that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Champaign County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Champaign comes up 349 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Champaign City IL, Savoy IL, Dix IL, and Peach Orchard IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Champaign families are University of Illinois Willard Airport, and Decatur Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
