Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Champaign City, IL
What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. In the Champaign City, Illinois area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Champaign City. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it helps build good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That gives you the chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.

Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
