Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Bloomington City, IL
Why We're Crazy About Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They make a great fit for most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Bloomington City, Illinois area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Bloomington City is something we take great pride in. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand.
