Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cunningham, IL
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They adjust easily to life with most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Cunningham, Illinois area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Cunningham with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's wonderful socialization, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Cunningham, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Cunningham that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Champaign County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Cunningham comes up 347 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Urbana IL, Danville IL, Charleston IL, Rantoul IL, Patton IL, Paxton IL, Ludlow IL, St. Joseph IL, Camargo IL, Villa Grove IL, South Homer IL, Compromise IL, Philo IL, Loda IL, East Oakland IL, Sidney IL, Thomasboro IL, Gifford IL, Pigeon Grove IL, Somer IL, Oakland IL, Newman IL, Ogden IL, Ashmore IL, Bowdre IL, Harwood IL, Embarrass IL, and Buckley IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Cunningham families are University of Illinois Willard Airport, and Decatur Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
