Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Westlake, OH
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They're a great match for most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Westlake, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Westlake. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go far beyond the minimum standards. We genetically test all of our adult dogs, and each one comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Westlake, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Westlake the farm is 68 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Westlake, to , including North Olmsted OH, Fairview Park OH, and Bay Village OH, or anywhere else in Cuyahoga County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
