Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Vestal, NY
See What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. As a bonus, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They settle in easily with most families. Families in the Vestal, New York area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Vestal. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We set our standards well above the basics. We make sure all of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. While you're here, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Vestal, New York
There are three ways to get your puppy home to Vestal, and we settle on one during a phone call after the deposit is in.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek. New York is one of the states where driving out makes sense for a lot of families. From Vestal you're looking at 5 to 7 hours each way, 311 miles on the road. You get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.
Ground delivery. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with updates along the way. New York is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and New York is an early stop on the eastern route, so most families here are holding their puppy the next day. That matters more than it sounds for this breed, since a Yorkshire Terrier has a single silky coat with no undercoat and not much defense against a cold February morning. The van stays temperature controlled the whole way. Around Broome County the driver also delivers to , including Union NY, Binghamton NY, Bridgewater PA, Auburn PA, Wysox PA, Silver Lake PA, Montrose PA, Dimock PA, Orwell PA, Forest Lake PA, Asylum PA, Terry PA, Windham PA, Herrick PA, Choconut PA, Standing Stone PA, and Wyalusing PA, and the whole arrangement suits anyone who would rather not deal with an airport.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, and never in cargo. Most flights are done same day. For Vestal, we meet families at baggage claim at Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field, and Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound carrier limit without any trouble at four to seven pounds, so the breed is about as easy as it gets on a plane. We arrange the health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old. Cost runs above ground delivery and is quoted per flight.
What we suggest for Vestal. If 5 to 7 hours each way is a day you can spare, come get the puppy yourself. It's a pretty drive. You'll learn more in an hour at the farm than in a dozen text messages. If that's more road than you want, ground delivery at $350 is the sensible choice. Flight nanny is for families who want the puppy in their arms in a matter of hours.
