Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Scranton, PA
Explore What We Love About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, are especially close to our hearts at The Puppy House. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But the real reason people fall for Yorkies is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They make a great fit for most families. There are very few responsible breeders across the country, so finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area can be difficult. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Scranton. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Here's What Sets Our Puppies Apart
Here at The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization matters just as much, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. It's a chance to see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Scranton that's 318 miles, about 5 to 7 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Lackawanna County families, whether in Scranton or in , including Wilkes-Barre PA, Coolbaugh PA, Dunmore PA, South Abington PA, Tobyhanna PA, Carbondale PA, Old Forge PA, Archbald PA, Blakely PA, Taylor PA, Moosic PA, Dickson City PA, Lackawaxen PA, Lake PA, Olyphant PA, Duryea PA, Clarks Summit PA, Blooming Grove PA, Jessup PA, Honesdale PA, Barrett PA, Throop PA, Canaan PA, Paupack PA, Damascus PA, Emerald Lakes PA, Mount Pocono PA, Newton PA, Dupont PA, Spring Brook PA, Madison PA, Avoca PA, Berlin PA, Texas PA, Covington PA, Clifford PA, Chinchilla PA, Fell PA, Jermyn PA, Moscow PA, Roaring Brook PA, Mount Cobb PA, Benton PA, Cherry Ridge PA, South Canaan PA, Lenox PA, Forest City PA, Mayfield PA, Overfield PA, Springville PA, Clifton PA, Sterling PA, Dyberry PA, The Hideout PA, Clarks Green PA, Dreher PA, Ransom PA, Harford PA, Pocono Springs PA, Waymart PA, Dalton PA, Factoryville PA, Lemon PA, Gibson PA, Hawley PA, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates PA, Simpson PA, Big Bass Lake PA, Mountainhome PA, Thornhurst PA, Pocono Pines PA, Preston PA, Glenburn PA, White Mills PA, Gouldsboro PA, Elmhurst PA, Lathrop PA, Oregon PA, Waverly PA, Vandling PA, North Abington PA, Lake Winola PA, Fawn Lake Forest PA, La Plume PA, and Ararat PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Scranton, the options are Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and Lehigh Valley International Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.
Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
