Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Upper Macungie, PA
Explore the Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. To top it off, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They fit in well with most families. Responsible breeders are few and far between across the country, which makes finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Upper Macungie, Pennsylvania area a challenge. That's what makes us so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Upper Macungie. Our goal is to help every family bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Upper Macungie
The Reasons Our Puppies Are the Best
Here at The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards are set well above the minimum. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're invited to visit us and choose your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Upper Macungie, Pennsylvania
Every puppy leaves from Sugarcreek, and there are three ways to get one home to Upper Macungie.
Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Upper Macungie that's 316 miles, about 5 to 7 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. When the drive is short enough to do in a day, this is the option we point Pennsylvania families toward first.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Lehigh County families, whether in Upper Macungie or in , including Lower Macungie PA, Maxatawny PA, Breinigsville PA, Longswamp PA, Weisenberg PA, Kutztown PA, Lynn PA, Greenwich PA, Kutztown University PA, Schnecksville PA, East Penn PA, Lowhill PA, Topton PA, Trexlertown PA, Albany PA, Mertztown PA, and New Tripoli PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. This is the most popular choice statewide and the one we recommend whenever the drive to us is more than you want to take on.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Upper Macungie, the options are Lehigh Valley International Airport, and Lancaster Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.
Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
