Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in New Trier, IL
Find Out Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, what wins most people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the New Trier, Illinois area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in New Trier is something we take great pride in. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards are much higher than what's required. Every adult dog we own is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.

New Trier comes up 336 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Wilmette IL, Winnetka IL, and Glencoe IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for New Trier families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
