Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Morton Grove, IL
Discover Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They make a great fit for most families. In the Morton Grove, Illinois area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Morton Grove. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

The Reasons Our Puppies Stand Out
Here at The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. Every adult dog in our program is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We give our dogs great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done during the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Cook County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Morton Grove comes up 337 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Glenview IL, and Niles IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Morton Grove families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
