Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Milton, IL
Explore the Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit in well with most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Milton, Illinois area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Milton. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Milton
The Reasons Our Puppies Are the Best
Here at The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards are set well above the minimum. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. It's a chance to see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Milton, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Milton that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in DuPage County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Milton comes up 349 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Wheaton IL, and Glen Ellyn IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Milton families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
