Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Highland Park, IL
Here's Why We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies because their long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little. They may be tiny, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Highland Park, Illinois can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Highland Park. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. That playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Highland Park, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Highland Park that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Lake County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Highland Park comes up 340 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Moraine IL, and Northbrook IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Highland Park families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
