Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Estero, FL

Learn Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
Few breeds are as close to our hearts at The Puppy House as the Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Responsible breeders are few and far between across the country, which makes finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Estero, Florida area a challenge. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Estero. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Estero
Why Our Puppies Are the Ones to Choose
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go far beyond the minimum standards. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our puppies play and explore outside in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. While you're here, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy From Sugarcreek to Estero, Florida
Families are welcome to pick up in person at the farm by appointment. From Estero that means 971 miles on the road and 18 to 20 hours of driving each way, a two day trip for most Floridians. The families who make it come for the visit as much as the puppy, since it's the one way to walk the property, meet the parent dogs, and go over the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Ground transport is what most Florida families use. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and Florida runs take two to three days depending on the route and the stops before yours. Florida falls in our regional pricing tier at a flat $350, which is the same fee we charge Pennsylvania and Georgia even though the drive is several times longer. That rate covers Estero, , including Bonita Springs FL, San Carlos Park FL, and Three Oaks FL, and any other address in Lee County.
Flight nanny is the answer when you want the puppy home fast. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these deliveries finish the same day. For Estero, nannies fly into Southwest Florida International Airport, and Punta Gorda Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight rather than by tier. The farther down the peninsula you are, the faster the driving miles pile up, and the extra money can buy back a full day.
Two things about this breed are worth knowing before travel day. A grown Yorkshire Terrier tops out around seven pounds, so the 20 pound in cabin limit is never a problem, and a puppy this small can dip low on blood sugar after a long day of travel. Small frequent meals in the first days home are the fix, and we go over that with you before your puppy leaves. If you're meeting a nanny at an airport in July, park close and get the carrier into air conditioning quickly rather than letting it sit in a hot garage.
