Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Delhi, MI
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Delhi, Michigan area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. For this reason, we're proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Delhi. We want every family to be able to bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We aim much higher than the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Delhi, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Delhi mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Delhi it's 210 miles, which works out to 3 to 5 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Ingham County address pays the same whether it's in Delhi or out in , including Holt MI, Eaton Rapids MI, Aurelius MI, Onondaga MI, and Clarence MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Delhi families would meet the nanny at Capital Region International Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
