Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Country Club, FL

Find Out Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Their fondness for cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They make a great fit for most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Country Club, Florida area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Country Club. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Country Club
What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies to heart, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy From Sugarcreek to Country Club, Florida
Families are welcome to pick up in person at the farm by appointment. From Country Club that means 1008 miles on the road and 19 to 21 hours of driving each way, a two day trip for most Floridians. The families who make it come for the visit as much as the puppy, since it's the one way to walk the property, meet the parent dogs, and go over the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Ground transport is what most Florida families use. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and Florida runs take two to three days depending on the route and the stops before yours. Florida falls in our regional pricing tier at a flat $350, which is the same fee we charge Pennsylvania and Georgia even though the drive is several times longer. That rate covers Country Club, , including Miami Lakes FL, and Palm Springs North FL, and any other address in Miami-Dade County.
Flight nanny is the answer when you want the puppy home fast. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these deliveries finish the same day. For Country Club, nannies fly into Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, and Miami International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight rather than by tier. The farther down the peninsula you are, the faster the driving miles pile up, and the extra money can buy back a full day.
Two things about this breed are worth knowing before travel day. A grown Yorkshire Terrier tops out around seven pounds, so the 20 pound in cabin limit is never a problem, and a puppy this small can dip low on blood sugar after a long day of travel. Small frequent meals in the first days home are the fix, and we go over that with you before your puppy leaves. If you're meeting a nanny at an airport in July, park close and get the carrier into air conditioning quickly rather than letting it sit in a hot garage.
