Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Burbank, IL
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Burbank, Illinois can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Burbank. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go much further than the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before they go home, all of our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Burbank, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Burbank that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Cook County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Burbank comes up 331 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Oak Lawn IL, Palos IL, Bridgeview IL, Summit IL, and Bedford Park IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Burbank families are Chicago Midway International Airport, and Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
