Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Avon, OH
Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. As a bonus, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Avon, Ohio area can be tough. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Avon. We want every family to enjoy a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We go above and beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Avon, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Avon the farm is 70 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Avon, to , including North Ridgeville OH, Avon Lake OH, and Sheffield Lake OH, or anywhere else in Lorain County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
