Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Grant, IL
Discover the Reasons We Adore Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They usually fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Grant, Illinois area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Grant. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. We set our standards well above the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and we see it as much more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.

Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Grant comes up 362 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Fox Lake IL, Volo IL, Lakemoor IL, Burton IL, Long Lake IL, Randall WI, Pistakee Highlands IL, Fox Lake Hills IL, Channel Lake IL, Lake Catherine IL, and Lily Lake WI.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Grant families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and General Mitchell International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
