Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in North Ridgeville, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They usually fit right in with most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the North Ridgeville, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in North Ridgeville. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it helps build good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and we see it as much more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to North Ridgeville, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From North Ridgeville the farm is 65 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to North Ridgeville, to , including and Elyria OH, or anywhere else in Lorain County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
