Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Streamwood, IL
Find Out Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed we really love at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But underneath that attitude, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The fact that they love to cuddle and stay close all the time is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Streamwood, Illinois area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Streamwood. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Streamwood
Why Families Choose Our Yorkie Puppies
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way matters to us at The Puppy House. Our standards are set well above the minimum. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another essential step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's a great way to socialize them, and they get plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Streamwood that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Cook County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Streamwood comes up 356 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Hanover IL, and Hoffman Estates IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Streamwood families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
