Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Binghamton, NY
Learn What We Love About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies for short, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Even though they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They tend to fit right in with most families. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Binghamton, New York area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Binghamton. We want every family to be able to bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Binghamton
Why Our Puppies Make the Best Companions
At The Puppy House, we take care to breed and raise our Yorkies the right way. Our standards are set well above the minimum. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies explore and play in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Binghamton, New York
There are three ways to get your puppy home to Binghamton, and we settle on one during a phone call after the deposit is in.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek. New York is one of the states where driving out makes sense for a lot of families. From Binghamton you're looking at 5 to 7 hours each way, 317 miles on the road. You get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.
Ground delivery. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with updates along the way. New York is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and New York is an early stop on the eastern route, so most families here are holding their puppy the next day. That matters more than it sounds for this breed, since a Yorkshire Terrier has a single silky coat with no undercoat and not much defense against a cold February morning. The van stays temperature controlled the whole way. Around Broome County the driver also delivers to , including Johnson City NY, Chenango NY, Norwich NY, Fenton NY, Binghamton University NY, Kirkwood NY, Conklin NY, Dickinson NY, Colesville NY, Sidney NY, Chenango Bridge NY, Walton NY, Guilford NY, Barker NY, Sanford NY, Plymouth NY, Deposit NY, Coventry NY, Port Dickinson NY, Susquehanna Depot PA, Greene NY, Oxford NY, Bainbridge NY, Smithville NY, Masonville NY, Hallstead PA, Tompkins NY, Unadilla NY, Preston NY, Hancock NY, Brooklyn PA, Windsor NY, McDonough NY, New Milford PA, Afton NY, Pitcher NY, Great Bend PA, Pharsalia NY, and Lanesboro PA, and the whole arrangement suits anyone who would rather not deal with an airport.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, and never in cargo. Most flights are done same day. For Binghamton, we meet families at baggage claim at Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field, and Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound carrier limit without any trouble at four to seven pounds, so the breed is about as easy as it gets on a plane. We arrange the health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old. Cost runs above ground delivery and is quoted per flight.
What we suggest for Binghamton. If 5 to 7 hours each way is a day you can spare, come get the puppy yourself. It's a pretty drive. You'll learn more in an hour at the farm than in a dozen text messages. If that's more road than you want, ground delivery at $350 is the sensible choice. Flight nanny is for families who want the puppy in their arms in a matter of hours.
