Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Miami, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Miami, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Miami. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We go far beyond the minimum standards. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
We encourage you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can check out our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Miami, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Miami the farm is 151 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Miami, to , including Miamisburg OH, West Carrollton OH, Franklin OH, and Germantown OH, or anywhere else in Montgomery County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
