Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Peoria City, IL
See Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
Few breeds are as close to our hearts at The Puppy House as the Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie. Their coat is long, silky, and beautiful, and because it sheds very little, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. Families in the Peoria City, Illinois area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Peoria City. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Peoria City
Why Our Yorkie Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
