Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Vernon Hills, IL
Learn Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed that's very dear to us. This breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies because it sheds very little. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. Yorkies fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Vernon Hills, Illinois area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Vernon Hills with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Yorkie Puppies Special
At The Puppy House, we care about breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We go well beyond the basic standards. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
