Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Valdosta, GA
Learn Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as they're often called, have a special place in our hearts. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Valdosta, Georgia area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Valdosta. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Why Our Puppies Are the Top Choice
We do things the right way at The Puppy House when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We set our standards well above the basics. We make sure all of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can check out our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first set of shots and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Valdosta, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Valdosta is 674 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Valdosta also covers , including Tallahassee FL, Albany GA, Tifton GA, Douglas GA, Fitzgerald GA, Live Oak FL, Adel GA, Nashville GA, Jasper FL, Echols County GA, Ocilla GA, Quitman GA, Lakeland GA, Nicholls GA, Hahira GA, Madison FL, Deenwood GA, Homerville GA, Pearson GA, Sparks GA, Unionville GA, Willacoochee GA, Lake Park GA, Enigma GA, Boston GA, Mayo FL, Moody AFB GA, Omega GA, Broxton GA, Ray City GA, Remerton GA, Dasher GA, Jennings FL, Lenox GA, Greenville FL, White Springs FL, Alapaha GA, Pavo GA, Berlin GA, Morven GA, and Coolidge GA. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in Lowndes County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Valdosta, the airports we would plan a handoff around are Valdosta Regional Airport, and Tallahassee International Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Valdosta runs 12 to 14 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
