Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Springfield, OH
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They adapt well to most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Springfield, Ohio area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're proud to offer families in Springfield our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. For us, the basics are only the starting point. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Springfield, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Springfield the farm is 121 miles away, 1 to 3 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Springfield, to , including Moorefield OH, Urbana OH, Northridge OH, Harmony OH, St. Paris OH, West Liberty OH, South Charleston OH, and Jeffersonville OH, or anywhere else in Clark County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
