Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in South Holland, IL
Discover Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed we really love at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near South Holland, Illinois can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in South Holland. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

What Sets Our Yorkie Puppies Apart
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way matters to us at The Puppy House. Our standards reach well past the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We take every Yorkie placement seriously, and to us it's much more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to South Holland, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From South Holland that's 5 to 7 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Cook County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. South Holland comes up 320 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Harvey IL, Dolton IL, and Thornton IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for South Holland families are Gary Chicago International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
