Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Plain, OH
What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Plain, Ohio area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Plain. Our aim is to give every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to standards that go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's a great way to socialize them, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Plain, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Plain the farm is 30 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Plain, to , including Canton OH, Lake OH, North Canton OH, Nimishillen OH, and Louisville OH, or anywhere else in Stark County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
