Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Lake, OH
Why We're Crazy About Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually tip the scales at 7 pounds or less, yet they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Lake, Ohio area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Lake. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard than the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
If you can, we'd love for you to come see us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy leaves with their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam completed. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Lake, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Lake the farm is 35 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Lake, to , including Alliance OH, Suffield OH, Randolph OH, Marlboro OH, Greentown OH, Uniontown OH, and Hartville OH, or anywhere else in Stark County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
