Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Ozark, MO
Learn Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, making it a popular recommendation for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Ozark, Missouri area can be challenging. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Ozark. Our mission is to help every family find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard than the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Bringing a Puppy Home to Ozark, Missouri: Costs and Travel Times
Pickup in Sugarcreek
You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself, by appointment, at 559 Pleasant Valley Road NW in Sugarcreek. For a family in Ozark that means 667 miles and 12 to 14 hours in each direction, so it's a comfortable overnight at best and a hard drive to justify at worst. Most Missouri families pick one of the other two options.
Ground Home Delivery
Ground transport is what most Missouri families choose. A pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Missouri falls in the national delivery tier at a flat $450, and that covers the whole state, Ozark and , including Nixa MO, Harrison AR, Mountain Home AR, West Plains MO, Branson MO, Mountain Grove MO, Hollister MO, Rogersville MO, Burdine MO, Ava MO, Mountain View MO, Forsyth MO, Gassville AR, Willow Springs MO, Sparta MO, Cabool MO, Seymour MO, Bull Shoals AR, Merriam Woods MO, Flippin AR, Mansfield MO, Cass MO, Yellville AR, Midway AR, Kissee Mills MO, Cotter AR, Rockaway Beach MO, Fordland MO, Diamond City AR, Gainesville MO, Morris MO, Lakeview AR, Norwood MO, Bull Creek MO, Hartville MO, Summit AR, Upton MO, Indian Point MO, and Bergman AR included. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families have the puppy in their arms within about three days of departure. Nobody in Christian County has to drive to an airport.
Flight Nanny
A flight nanny costs more and is quoted per flight, but it usually finishes in one day. The handler keeps the puppy in the cabin under the seat, never in cargo, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. For Ozark, the airports that take these flights are Springfield Branson National Airport, and Branson Airport. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and carrying a health certificate from a licensed vet. A Yorkie clears that limit easily.
Which One We Would Suggest
For Ozark we point families toward ground delivery. At $450 flat it costs less than a flight for a single puppy, the door to door handoff skips the airport entirely, and a Midwest route means the puppy is not on the road nearly as long as one heading to the coast. Families in a hurry are the ones who get the most out of a flight nanny, since a same day arrival beats waiting on the van. One thing worth knowing about this breed in transit is blood sugar. Very small puppies need small meals often, and the handlers feed on a schedule for that reason rather than waiting for a rest stop.
