Here's What We Love About Yorkies

Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, are especially close to our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. As a bonus, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They make a great fit for most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Manor, Pennsylvania area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Manor. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Here's Why Our Puppies Are the Best

The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.

Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.

If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies to heart, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.

Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Manor, Pennsylvania

Every puppy leaves from Sugarcreek, and there are three ways to get one home to Manor.

Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Manor that's 277 miles, about 5 to 7 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. When the drive is short enough to do in a day, this is the option we point Pennsylvania families toward first.

Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Lancaster County families, whether in Manor or in , including West Hempfield PA, Columbia PA, Millersville PA, Lower Windsor PA, Chanceford PA, Martic PA, Lower Chanceford PA, Mountville PA, East Hopewell PA, Wrightsville PA, Conestoga PA, Washington Boro PA, and East Prospect PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. This is the most popular choice statewide and the one we recommend whenever the drive to us is more than you want to take on.

Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Manor, the options are Lancaster Airport, and Harrisburg International Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.

Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
