Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Liberty, MO
Find Out Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. In the Liberty, Missouri area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Liberty. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Liberty
Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We set our standards well above the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. Besides being great socialization, it gives them plenty of exercise.
If you can make the trip, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Pickup in Sugarcreek
You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself, by appointment, at 559 Pleasant Valley Road NW in Sugarcreek. For a family in Liberty that means 683 miles and 13 to 15 hours in each direction, so it's a comfortable overnight at best and a hard drive to justify at worst. Most Missouri families pick one of the other two options.
Ground Home Delivery
Ground transport is what most Missouri families choose. A pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Missouri falls in the national delivery tier at a flat $450, and that covers the whole state, Liberty and , including Excelsior Springs MO, Kearney MO, Chillicothe MO, Cameron MO, Trenton MO, Grand River MO, Pleasant Valley MO, Lawson MO, Plattsburg MO, Lathrop MO, Gallatin MO, Hamilton MO, Grant MO, Davis MO, Kidder MO, Braymer MO, Wood Heights MO, Kingston MO, Glenaire MO, Madison MO, Rockford MO, Polo MO, Blue Mound MO, Jamesport MO, Breckenridge MO, Holt MO, and Cream Ridge MO included. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families have the puppy in their arms within about three days of departure. Nobody in Clay County has to drive to an airport.
Flight Nanny
A flight nanny costs more and is quoted per flight, but it usually finishes in one day. The handler keeps the puppy in the cabin under the seat, never in cargo, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. For Liberty, the airports that take these flights are Kansas City International Airport, and Kirksville Regional Airport. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and carrying a health certificate from a licensed vet. A Yorkie clears that limit easily.
Which One We Would Suggest
For Liberty we point families toward ground delivery. At $450 flat it costs less than a flight for a single puppy, the door to door handoff skips the airport entirely, and a Midwest route means the puppy is not on the road nearly as long as one heading to the coast. Families in a hurry are the ones who get the most out of a flight nanny, since a same day arrival beats waiting on the van. One thing worth knowing about this breed in transit is blood sugar. Very small puppies need small meals often, and the handlers feed on a schedule for that reason rather than waiting for a rest stop.
