Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Keller, TX
Find Out Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed we really love at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The fact that they love to cuddle and stay close all the time is the icing on the cake. They blend right in with most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Keller, Texas can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Keller. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Keller
Discover Why Our Yorkie Puppies Are the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way matters to us at The Puppy House. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it helps build good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
We invite you to stop by and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can check out our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take every Yorkie placement seriously, and to us it's much more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Keller, Texas
Home delivery by ground transport
A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates along the way. Transports leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Texas falls in our national pricing tier, so the fee is a flat $450 regardless of which corner of the state you live in. Keller is 1008 miles from the farm, and because of that distance most families here are looking at two to three days on the road rather than the next day arrival that East Coast families get. Your driver's stops in Tarrant County include Keller along with , including Roanoke TX, Justin TX, Haslet TX, and New Fairview TX.
Flight nanny
A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin of a commercial flight, right beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. The handoff usually happens the same afternoon. Texas has plenty of direct service from the Midwest, and Keller families usually meet their nanny at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport, and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Flights are quoted per trip and cost more than ground transport. They also need a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, a puppy at least eight weeks old, and a little flexibility in case weather pushes a flight. The twenty pound cabin limit including the carrier is never an issue with this breed, since a grown Yorkshire Terrier weighs four to seven pounds.
Pickup at the farm
Coming to Sugarcreek by appointment and driving the puppy home yourself is always open. From Keller that's 19 to 21 hours each way, a commitment of several days, so most families skip it, but the ones who make the drive get to meet the puppy where it was raised and go through the health records, the microchip registration, and the guarantee with us in person.
What we suggest for Keller
For most Texas addresses, ground delivery at $450 is the easy answer, and it is what we would suggest first. It ends at your front door. Nothing is asked of you but a signature. If you would rather not have a young puppy on the road for three days, the flight nanny is usually worth the extra cost. Small puppies can dip low on blood sugar when they travel, so plan on small frequent meals for the first few days home no matter which option you pick. Method, timing, and the fee all get confirmed on the phone once your puppy is reserved.
