Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Huntley, IL
Here's Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. Families in the Huntley, Illinois area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. For that reason, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Huntley. Every family deserves a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. We make sure all of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.

Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Huntley families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Rockford International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
