Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Griffin, GA
See Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their fondness for cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They're well suited to most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Griffin, Georgia area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Griffin. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go far beyond the basics. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, laying the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. Besides being great socialization, it gives them plenty of exercise.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies to heart, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Griffin, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Griffin is 521 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Griffin also covers , including Thomaston GA, Hampton GA, Barnesville GA, Hannahs Mill GA, Experiment GA, Heron Bay GA, East Griffin GA, Zebulon GA, Woodbury GA, Sunset Village GA, Milner GA, Lincoln Park GA, and Williamson GA. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in Spalding County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Griffin, the airports we would plan a handoff around are Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and DeKalb Peachtree Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Griffin runs 9 to 11 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
