Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Flint, MI
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Flint, Michigan area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Flint. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for their great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore outside in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Flint, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Flint mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Flint it's 204 miles, which works out to 3 to 5 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Genesee County address pays the same whether it's in Flint or out in , including Burton MI, Fenton MI, Mundy MI, Vienna MI, Beecher MI, Flushing MI, Clayton MI, Thetford MI, Swartz Creek MI, Lake Fenton MI, Caledonia MI, Linden MI, Burns MI, Durand MI, Arbela MI, Mount Morris MI, Argentine MI, Venice MI, Clio MI, Hazelton MI, and New Lothrop MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Flint families would meet the nanny at Bishop International Airport, and MBS International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
