Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in White Lake, MI
Here's What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. The Yorkie's long, silky coat is beautiful and low-shedding, which makes the breed a common recommendation for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They fit easily into most families. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the White Lake, Michigan area can be challenging. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in White Lake. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In White Lake
See Why Our Puppies Stand Out
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We go well beyond the basic standards. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of space for playing and socializing.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that helps our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're invited to visit us and choose your puppy in person if you can. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to White Lake, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for White Lake mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From White Lake it's 178 miles, which works out to 3 to 5 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in White Lake or out in , including Highland MI, Springfield MI, Tyrone MI, Rose MI, and Holly MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. White Lake families would meet the nanny at Bishop International Airport, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
